Shine Partners

The Shine Music Festival wouldn’t exist without these Partners who took what it means to be inclusive and accessible to a whole new level.

"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much."

Access Gallery

Access Gallery is an inclusive nonprofit organization that engages the community by opening doors to creative, educational and economic opportunities for people with disabilities to access, experience and benefit from the arts.

Access Gallery firmly believes that every young person with a disability deserves access to appropriate arts learning experiences. All art educators should be appropriately prepared to include students with disabilities in their instruction. All children, youth and adults with disabilities should have complete access to community cultural facilities and activities. All individuals with disabilities who aspire to careers in the arts should have the opportunity to develop appropriate skills. Check out our Shine the Light Series: Access Gallery

Full Body Sound

Our Goal is simple: Revolutionize how the world experiences music and audio by allowing users to feel sound.

The fundamental technology behind Full Body Sound (FBS) was derived from Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) devices. These medical devices have been around for decades and have offered pain relief to hundreds of thousands of people.

Full Body Sound will have devices at Shine to allow people with a hearing loss to experience not just the bass, but vocals, string instruments, trumpets, etc. It also takes the experience of live music to a whole new level for those who can hear.

Feel The Beat

Feel the beat is dedicated to creating sound accessible environments, using vibrotactile technology, to bring the expressive world of music and dance education to individuals who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing and with Special Needs. We enable people to feel the beat of music. Feel the Beat has co-created a bone conductive dance floor that delivers the physical dimension of sound. Our specialized flooring combines vibrations from transducers and pliable material that reverberates with the beat. This high fidelity physical sound is just one way we make dance classes accessible to all.
